Coming from Rio de Janeiro
1° - (faster) Take the highway Rodovia Presidente Dutra, then, the first exit to Volta Redonda. You will be on the highway Rodovia dos Metalúrgicos, that joins Via Dutra to the centre of Volta Redonda. At the end of the highway Rodovia dos Metalúrgicos, you will see on your right the supermmarkets Walmart and Spani, and soon after, traffic lights. At the traffic lights, continue towards the left, in direction to ATERRADO, you will go down a viaduct and through a bridge above the Paraíba do Sul river. Follow the flux, and follow the signs towards the suburb Bairro Voldak, then Bairro Santa Cruz, Santa Rita do Zarur, Amparo, Santa Isabel do Rio Preto and soon after you will arrive to Santa Rita de Jacutinga/MG.. 100% of the way on asphalt. Total 165 km.
2° - (Through Conservatória, city of serestas) Take highway Rodovia Presidente Dutra, then take the exit to Piraí (73 km from Trevo das Margaridas, Rio). Continue towards Barra do Piraí 30 km more, at Trevo do Belvedere continue in direction to Ipiabas (15km more) and then to Conservatória (20 km). After 23 km, you will find Santa Isabel and only 12 km after that you will be at Santa Rita de Jacutinga. 100% of the way on asphalt. Total 173 km.
At Santa Rita:
Soon after getting in the city, you will pass through a Portal, right after it, stick to the left and after 200 metres, right next to a small church, you will find the Pousada O Meu Canto.
Coming from São Paulo
Take the highway Rodovia Presidente Dutra until Volta Redonda, take the second exit to the highway Rodovia dos Metalurgicos, that connects Dutra to the Centre of Volta Redonda. At the end of the highway Rodovia dos Metalurgicos, you will see on your right a Walmart and soon after, you will see a sign. Continue towards the left in direction to the suburb BAIRRO DO ATERRADO.
You will go down a viadut and through a bridge above Paraiba do Sul river. Follow the signs towards Bairro Voldak, Then to Bairro Santa Cruz, Santa Rita do Zarur, Amparo, Santa Isabel do Rio Preto and soon after you will be at Santa Rita de Jacutinga MG. 100% of the way on asphalt.
Coming from Belo Horizonte
Take the road BR-040 until the exit to Lima Duarte/Caxambu (BR 267) - before Juiz de Fora -. Continue towards Bom Jardim de Minas, go through the city and continue 32 km more to Santa Rita de Jacutinga (MG 457). Total 342 km. 100% of the way on asphalt.
At Santa Rita:
Continue on the same road, you will pass behind the Old Station, and right after an iron bridge, turn right. In 200 mts you will find the Pousada O Meu Canto, right next to a small church.
